He started making pizzas in 1999 and worked in California Pizza Kitchen then moved over to Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill in Los Angeles, California where he eventually became the Sous Chef. He moved to San Antonio in 2016 and found SoHill Café the perfect home to make his own creations.
